Old foes lock horns as AC Milan host Juventus in Serie A, with the Rossoneri in particular looking to close the gap on city rivals Inter at the top of the table.
Stefano Pioli’s side suffered a setback in their bid to keep pace with their neighbours as they tasted defeat at home by newly promoted Spezia last time out.
The Rossoneri trail Inter by two points – the Nerazzurri also have a game in hand – although they will be equally wary of the chasing pack, with Juventus gathering momentum back in fifth place.
Here’s how Milan could line up for this weekend’s crucial clash.
Mike Maignan (GK) – A shrewd purchase from Ligue 1 champions Lille in the summer, with six clean sheets in Serie A so far.
Davide Calabria (RB) – Returned to action off the bench last time out after recovering from injury and Covid-19. Could push for a start.
Pierre Kalulu (CB) – Usually operates at full-back, but Milan’s defensive injury crisis in recent weeks has forced him infield.
Alessio Romagnoli (CB) – The Italian is expected to return to the team after previously testing positive for Covid-19.
Theo Hernandez (LB) – Milan’s most important player, with just shy of ten goal involvements already this season.

Sandro Tonali (CM) – Missed the defeat to Spezia through suspension and he will be eager to make amends.
Rade Krunic (CM) – A two-way presence in midfield under Pioli, forming a solid base alongside Tonali.
Brahim Diaz (AM) – The Milan fans will be hoping they can secure the 22-year-old’s services on a permanent basis.

Junior Messias (RW) – The 30-year-old has worked his way up through Italian football.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (ST) – The former Juventus forward will be keen to get one over on his old side.
Rafael Leao (LW) – The Portuguese offers lightning pace on the flanks and his end product can typically be relied upon.
